Is It Time For Your Child to Get Braces?

Last updated 11 months ago

Braces are used in orthodontic practices to straighten teeth and create a more aesthetically appealing smile. Braces are also used to correct gaps, overbites, and other dental imperfections.

Typically, kids are ready to get braces as early as age seven. Usually, parents will recognize their child’s needs for braces by observing their outer teeth structure, although there are many orthodontic problems that cannot be observed without x-rays. To learn more about the types of braces available for children, watch this video.

Ashburn Children’s Dentistry offers extensive dental services for children of all ages. To learn more about our pediatric dental services and if your child is ready for orthodontic care, give us a call at (571) 223-5768.
